The first time I went to Westtown Studios I felt like I having an out-of-body experience, or a dream. With their vast collection of world class equipment and homey, down-to-earth vibe, it is truly a paradise for any musician, producer, or engineer. At the heart of the magnificent studio, holding things down is Westtown’s engineer/producer Leeland McCartney. With all of their goodies, it’s hard to believe one man can manage and understand it all. But Lee is a one-of-a-kind, super-knowledgable dude, and even better, he is genuinely a good person. Working with him is a breath of fresh air and I’ve never felt intimidated, despite his awesomeness. You will not be disappointed choosing Westtown Studios. However, consider yourself warned, you will never want to leave…especially if you’re a guitarist. *drools thinking about the white custom Tele he fell in love with first time he visited the studio*
